Local businesses have undoubtedly faced hardship over the last year and a half. With “non-essential” closures, occupancy limitations, and taxes – the need for a business advocate has never been greater, which is why I have dedicated time on the campaign trail to stop and listen to local businesses in the area. Too often politicians speak too much and listen very little.
So far, I have spoken to the workers, managers, and owners of Nordic Veneer, Fabform Industries, Orenco, and North River Boats. I learned about the challenges they face and how Oregon can help them flourish. You can find these tours on my Facebook page below.
