Oregon’s New Gun Infringement

Friend,

I want to let you know that Oregon’s new control bill just went into effect. Oregon now requires gun owners to store their firearms in a gun room/safe or use a trigger lock when it is not in use. Failure to do so could result in lawsuits, fines, and penalties.

This law is a clear infringement of our Second Amendment rights. What right does the government have in dictating a liberty inside our home? The consequences of this bill were not thought out because it was pushed by out-of-touch Democrats. Firearms are an important role in self-defense when law enforcement is not readily available.

Having a firearm that can be quickly accessed in a moment of need can turn the tide in a life-or-death situation. Democrats obviously do not know or understand that the defensive use of firearms saves thousands of lives each year. This law will surely have consequences.

Stay safe, friend.

Sincerely,

Virgle Osborne
