Friend, Democrats are intent on giving more power to unelected bureaucrats. A bill is currently being passed around that will give the Oregon Health Authority’s Public Health Director to determine a health care emergency. This is a power previously held only by the Governor. This is a disastrous bill and gives power to an unaccountable and illegitimate bureaucrat. After two years of unchecked power by the OHA, we need to reestablish balance. I will seek to reign in bureaucrats and ensure that they are accountable to the People, not out of touch Democrats. |
